Network Platforms today announced that it had donated a DrayTek VigorIPPBX 2820, an integrated IP-PBX and ADSL Firewall, for the door of hope Children’s Mission’s new offices.
“This initiative forms part of our corporate social investment programme,” commented Bradley Love, Managing Director of Network Platforms. “Choosing the appropriate recipients for the focus of our programme is always a difficult task, as there are so many needs that arepresented to us.”
“We are continuously amazed at the generous donations given to us by both businesses and individuals,” added Carmen Pretorius, PRO and Operations Manager at door of hope. “However, this is just one of the many examples I could enumerate; each one in itself is very important, and they all contribute to the ongoing sustainability of our mission.”
“We are delighted that we could help door of hope in this way, and we know that it will contribute to the ongoing fulfilment of their vision,” concluded Love.
The door of hope Children’s Mission rescues and receives any abandoned, abused and orphaned babies and children from any source, in co-operation with other agencies. It provides a temporary Christian home for all its babies and children, while seeking a forever family, suitable long-term care, or other permanent care for each one.
